Rev. FE Robinson's funeral - then and now

These two pictures were taken at FE Robinson's funeral, in February 1910. Below each is a picture taken from the same place in May 2006.

The procession to the grave

Robinson's funeral procession in 1910

The wall is round the gardens of the church cottages, where the Cornerstone now stands. The cedar tree was much smaller. Note the policemen's uniform of the period.

Crowds around the grave

The grave is to the right of the path, in front of the crucifer, next to the cedar tree, which was small then, but now overshadows the graves.
