All Saints bellringers featured in the final two printed editions of the Wokingham Times. On 9 December they were the ‘featured group’. The photographer visited on the evening when they were erecting the church Christmas tree and took a picture of them standing in front of it as well as one holding token bellropes in the ringing room (the one they used), The ringers last featured in this slot in 2011 – in the week when they took down the Christmas tree!
On 16 December the tower was the backdrop for handing over a Community Cash cheque. Over the years the ringers and other supporters have filled in thousands of Community Cash vouchers and three times they came out of the draw, in 2001, 2009 and at the end of 2014. The cash will go towards the long awaited project to install a glass screen between the ringing gallery and the nave.
